HomePod problem repair: Apple HomePod 1st Gen “No-Bass” Repair Service
A number of root causes may result in a HomePod with no bass. The woofer itself can malfunction. Occasionally, a component on the amplifier board fails. There is a 10-ohm resistor that may fail, or the amplifier IC may fail. We’ll diagnose and find out if the woofer and any other components will need to be replaced. We’ll bolster the padding for the new woofer to prevent any rattles, and may replace some items such as DC filters while we have the amplifier removed.
