Quick and convenient service to fix what would otherwise have become e-waste and gone to the landfill. I've been using it for a couple of weeks since Minn-Tech fixed my 1st gen HomePod and it works and sounds just as good as new. It upsets me that there is almost no information about this failure on the internet and that people like Minn Tech doesn’t have a lot of presence on social media -but I get it. EXCELLENT, WOW, FANTASTIC WOULD DEFINITELY USE AGAIN!!! My son's first generation HomePod was dead. Apple wants $275 to fix, might as well buy a new one. Googled the symptoms, saw YouTube videos on how to fix, honestly I would never be able to put it back together on first try, not to mention buying the right tools. Googled repairs in my area (Chicago suburbs), nothing. Came across Minn-Tech, what a find. For $69 (including shipping both ways!), Minn-Tech fixed the no power issue and replaced four ceramic DC filter capacitors as a preventive measure at no additional charge! Sent the HomePod on Tuesday 10/29 and was just delivered today, Monday 11/4. Works perfectly. Couldn't ask for a better result. Thank you Minn-Tech!!! My family has 7 other first gen HomePods, needless to say I've booked marked Minn-Tech. THANK YOU!!!
